Elim Church – A Welcome To All
 At Elim Christian Centre, we believe that church should be exciting for people from all backgrounds and of all ages and, of course, be a great place to meet God.
Desire the Fire is not only what we call our weekly worship experience but it best describes our intention. Every Sunday the church gathers to Desire the Fire, worshipping God in a modern and contemporary way. It is exciting, motivating and above all, God-centred. It is a time when we come and gather corporately to thank and praise God in a relaxed way.
Elim Christian Centre – Meet People, Meet God
Desire the Fire features a mix of Spirit-inspired worship music, and life-teaching which is relevant, thought provoking and challenging enough to help Christians live the life in a real and relevant way, while being welcoming to those who may be trying church for the first time. Elim Christian Church is also a great place to meet the church and make new friends, as our café Oasis opens before and after each gathering.
Elim Church – Midweek Prayer
 Desire the Fire in the week takes on a different emphasis.
There are two prayer encounters with God - on Tuesday 9:30 am and then on Wednesday 7:30 pm. On Tuesday, our prayer intercessory team meets to pray for anything from the needs of individuals found within the church, to the needs of the town and even the nation.
The Wednesday encounter follows a similar approach but is accessible to those who are unable to attend on Tuesday morning. Every prayer experience is evidenced by the awesome presence of God.
Additionally, Elim Christian Centre offers a number of mid-week studies. These can be anything from Bible studies to life application teaching such as the renowned Freedom for Christ; to Alpha, which is especially designed for those who want to find out more about the Christian faith or who are new to Christianity.
