Live Jive
Do you want to make new friends? Then Live Jive could be for you!
Live Jive is a dance class that meets every Friday afternoon between 2.00 pm and 4.00 pm.
Everyone in the community is welcome – young or not so young, experienced or raw beginner. You can bring a partner or come alone. Either way, it's a great way to have fun and keep fit, as well as to make new friends.
Live Jive incorporates moves from rock ‘n roll and salsa, which can be danced to various types of music, from 40s Swing to modern Chart music, all under the guidance of our qualified instructor. You don’t need any special clothing or shoes – wear something casual and cool (it can get very hot!) and comfortable shoes - whatever you find comfortable to dance in.
The charge is only £3.00 and you will receive personal tuition and advice from a qualified dance instructor. But you will be allowed to progress at your own pace, in a very relaxed friendly environment.
